When my youngest son first showed interest in video games he was 3 years old. His older relation played games and so did I, so it was natural that he wanted to play too. He started playing games on our home PC. I found that there were some good, safe games he could play on the Nickelodeon/Nick Jr. website that featured characters like Dora the Explorer, Diego, Band Umizoomi and other games that were based on the educational cartoons he was already watching on TV. He played those for hours, and understood how everything worked so I bought him a Nintendo GameCube soothe.
